What happens to my discount codes when I uninstall?

When you uninstall CartSprinkle, your app data is automatically deleted for GDPR compliance. The automatic discount created by CartSprinkle will remain in your Shopify admin (as 'CartSprinkle Gift Discount') and should be manually deleted. Go to Discounts → Automatic discounts to remove it and prevent customers from claiming free gifts after uninstall. If you reinstall CartSprinkle later, a new discount will be automatically created.

How do I install CartSprinkle?

How do I schedule a promotion for later?

What happens to gifts already in carts when I end a promotion?

When you deactivate or delete a promotion, gifts are automatically removed from active carts within a few minutes. Customers will see their cart update to reflect the change. This prevents confusion and maintains accurate pricing.

Can customers choose the size or color of their free gift?

Yes! When you select multiple variants for a gift product (like different sizes or colors), customers will see a popup where they can choose their preferred option. This eliminates 'wrong size' issues and gives customers more control over their gift.
